Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Telecommunications Network Engineer to provide design, administration, troubleshooting, and refresh support for DoD local area networks. The role supports voice, data, video, and wireless services, with responsibilities across installation planning and network specifications.

This position is remote within the United States with up to 50% travel CONUS and OCONUS. Compensation starts at $50,000+ with comprehensive benefits, annual leave, bonuses, 401(k)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive information technology experience.
• Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex requirements.
• Experience in voice, LAN data, wireless networks or network management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting voice, data, video, and wireless services.
• Develops designs and plans for installation and maintenance from project inception to conclusion.
• Analyzes information to be transported and defines system requirements.
• Develops network specifications and coordinates with other information system professionals.
• Develops alternative solutions and backup plans with functional users.
