Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Network Engineer I to help maintain secure, reliable enterprise networks across multiple locations. This remote role with Missouri-resident eligibility supports design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the network infrastructure to keep care services connected.

Work with IT team, troubleshoot, enhance performance, and ensure compliance with privacy and information security standards while managing after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Three years of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki, HP, Aruba, Velocloud, Fortinet devices.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve complex networking issues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless).
• Assist with network design, capacity planning, and implementation.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, ensure reliable availability.
• Support network security and disaster recovery processes.
• Document network configurations and asset inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on projects.
• Provide guidance to team members and ensure privacy and security standards.
