Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Senior Network Engineer for the CONUS region to support a DoD/DHA contract. The role demands mastery of routing, switching, security, and network management tools across DoD environments.

Required CISSP IAM III and CCNP certifications, DoD Health Care IT experience, and strong communication with government stakeholders. Remote work option with nationwide residency allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, engineering, or related discipline; five years of directly related experience, or completion of certified technical/vocational school with 10 years of related experience.
• DOD 8570 IAM III CISSP and CCNP certifications required.
• Experience with DoD Health Care Information Systems; Windows networks, Cisco, and Orion SolarWinds; knowledge of Zero Trust architectures is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN issues across DoD environments using diagnostic tools and network management platforms.
• Provide high-level installation, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting for DHA networked facilities; act as SME for contract networks.
