Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 10 years' experience required.
• Experience in network architectures and design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Project).

Responsibilities

• Designs and plans network communications systems including voice, video, and data.
• Provides detailed Layer 1 solutions for copper and fiber infrastructure, PA and A/V.
• Supplies specifications and schematics for network architecture.
• Collaborates with engineering staff on requirements analysis and installation solutions.
• Performs cost/benefit analyses for hardware/software selections.
• Monitors network hardware configurations and performance.
• Plans upgrades and enhancements to the network.
• Keeps abreast of new communications technologies to improve capabilities.
