Job summary

Forge Group seeks a Technical Delivery Manager to lead a cross-functional team supporting production operations for a DoW customer. You will oversee Cybersecurity, IT Management, and operational delivery while meeting SLAs and guiding development deployments.

The role requires 8+ years in program/project management for software/technology modernization, with DoD and Agile experience. Remote-friendly VA location with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of experience as a Project and/or Program Manager supporting software development and/or technology modernization.
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government as either a federal employee or contractor is required.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a cross-functional Production Operations Team supporting Customer Support, IT Management, Cybersecurity and Configuration Control.
• Communicate with Government Customer and stakeholders on operational status, plans, and requirements.
• Lead technical delivery of Production Operational Support and present guidance for delivery to the Government customer.
• Track progress on deliverables and scheduled operations for the Production Operations Support Team.
• Manage the Agile Team backlog with the customer to prioritize user stories and tasks.
• Identify, triage, and resolve or support critical Production issues.
• Coordinate with Development Team Leadership and Government Leadership on deployments and releases.
• Manage Cybersecurity team to maintain security posture and Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Oversee IT Infrastructure Team to ensure reliability and auditability for the Development Team.
