Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a remote Program Manager to direct the overall program and lead project teams. You will interface with customers, manage plans across subcontractors, and own cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program.

The role requires DoD contracting experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 4 years with Master’s; or 10 years with HS diploma.
• Experience in project management of defense contracts.
• Proven problem-solving, teamwork, and client-facing communication.
• Ability to build relationships and obtain consensus across leaders.
• Eligible for Secret clearance with potential TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management oversight for a single customer across planning stages with multiple subcontractors.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term business strategies for product/technology development.
• Direct program phases from inception through completion and ensure cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Lead program reviews with customers regarding cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments on business development projects and milestones.
• Disseminate information to pertinent parties to meet goals and objectives.
• Monitor progression of milestones and adjust work to ensure quality and schedule.
