Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a remote Subcontracts Manager within the Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) organization. You will lead procurement and subcontract activities for DoD and commercial programs, including RFPs, terms negotiation, and supplier performance management.

Candidates should have DoD procurement experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR, with a track record in negotiating price and contract terms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience for advanced degrees.
Experience with direct DoD procurement/subcontracts ownership.
Experience with FAR/DFAR.
Experience negotiating price reductions and terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform procurement and supplier administration for US Government and Commercial subcontracts.
Administer high-dollar subcontracts from $10K to $100M+ in value.
Manage sourcing from development through closeout of contracts.
Oversee supplier relationships and negotiations; develop negotiation plans.
