Job summary

RTX Corporation in Goleta, CA seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead subcontracts for electronic warfare systems. You will manage DoD procurement, ensure FAR/DFAR compliance, and coordinate with IPTs, engineering, and production teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role is hybrid (2–3 onsite days per week). The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD to 224,900 USD, with comprehensive benefits and incentives based on business unit and performance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of major subcontracts and procurement activities.
• Participate in gate reviews and capture/proposal efforts, and facilitate relationships across organizations and suppliers.
• Ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders are compliant with policies/procedures and FAR/DFAR.
• Perform procurement and supplier management for U.S. Government subcontracts.
• Administer high-dollar FFP/Cost Type major subcontracts from $100K to >$50M.
• Develop sourcing and procurement activities from development through final close out.
• Lead supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and manage PO placement and milestones.
• Communicate proactively in a fast-paced environment and drive tasks to completion.
