Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manager, Contracts for the STaRS product area within Radio Frequency Solutions. You will lead cradle-to-grave contract administration, from proposal development through closeout, ensuring compliance with policies and customer specs.

The role requires strong stakeholder relationships, experience with FAR/DFARS, and active DoD Secret clearance. This remote position can travel to sites as needed, and is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; 8+ years relevant experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience with U.S. Government contracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and contract processes end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Develop and respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage NDAs.
• Handle CPFF, FFP, and DCS contract types.
• Coordinate with DCMA/DCAA on government contracts.
• Interface with customers on contractual changes and issues.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation.
• Work autonomously and mentor junior staff.
• Multi-task contract and proposal activities while handling rapid response requests.
