SonderMind is seeking a Documentation Specialist to support clinical compliance and provider workflows. You will manage chart audits, ensure documentation meets payer and regulatory standards, and serve as the go-to expert for clinicians on documentation timelines and chart completion.

The role is full-time and requires detail-oriented, remote collaboration across multiple payer portals and EHR systems. Expect cross-functional coordination, adherence to SLAs, and opportunity to impact patient

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of administrative, care coordination, or operational experience in healthcare or behavioral health.
• Strong working knowledge of clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Session Note & Record Management: download notes and upload into EHR with accurate record integration.
• Outstanding Documentation Tracking & Compliance: daily audits and follow-ups for compliance.
• Provider Partnership & Communication: main contact for clinicians on documentation procedures and templates.
• Documentation Log Maintenance & Quality Assurance: maintain real-time logs with HIPAA compliance.
• New Provider Onboarding Support: guide onboarding through documentation expectations and workflows.
• Payer & Administrative Liaison: coordinate documentation exchanges to resolve discrepancies.
• Workflow Optimization & Trend Reporting: identify bottlenecks and report to leadership.
