Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist to improve the quality and completeness of provider-based clinical documentation. You will review patient records and assist providers to ensure accuracy for severity of illness and services rendered.

You will collaborate with providers, coders and care team members, develop and deliver education on documentation improvement, and respond to documentation clarification requests. This remote role is limited to residents of certain U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• 1-2 years of inpatient coding experience.
• RN with active state licensure OR RHIA/RHIT, CCS, CDIP, or CCDS certification.
