Job summary

Team Carney is seeking a Document Specialist & Training Specialist (Document Remediation) to ensure federal digital content meets Section 508 standards. You will remediate documents across Office and PDF formats and deliver instructor-led training to government personnel.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in accessibility remediation and training, with remote work within the U.S. and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of dedicated experience evaluating and remediating electronic documents and forms for Section 508 compliance.
• Experience creating and delivering instructor-led training materials and conducting training sessions on document accessibility.
• Broad knowledge of Accessibility Tests for Documents endorsed by the Federal CIO Council Community of Practice and Revised Section 508 Standards.
• Skilled in evaluating, remediating, and validating complex electronic documents to ensure full accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Remediate electronic documents and forms for Section 508 compliance.
• Design, create, and facilitate instructor-led training on document accessibility.
• Assist the government in making multimedia content Section 508 compliant.
