Job summary

Vitu is seeking a Registration Auditor II to join our remote team in the United States. You will meticulously review electronically filed documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with DMV policies and internal guidelines, while maintaining tight error control.

Qualifications include 1+ year DMV clerk or auditor experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication. This role offers hourly compensation from $19.00 to $23.00, with coverage under a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a DMV clerk at a dealership, credit union or previous DMV employee.
• At least 1 year of experience as an Auditor or similar position.
• Automotive industry knowledge is a plus.
• Must be creative and able to offer suggestions to achieve desired results.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, and career oriented, with a desire to contribute to the growth of the company.
• Maintain an awareness of business-related trends in the industry.
• Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• The auditor reviews all documents electronically filed by the second line business partner with meticulous care.
• Maintain no more than 3% error rate; this ratio includes the first line of service provider, the auditor.
• Under the direction of the Audit Manager, certifies paperwork is in hand and accurate per DMV policy; otherwise marked for further review by BPA.
• Daily Tasks – Audit paperwork against DMV policies, provide notice to clients and to DMV as per company procedures; audit/review an average of 600+ deals per day.
• Flag errors that can be fixed; contact clients for additional information or documents.
• Arrange paperwork in proper document order per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must have an auditor’s eye to identify errors and prohibited transactions.
• Determine if a transaction is worthy of an error notice.
• Print clear and concise Error Notices for clients.
• Arrange the bundle in proper bundle order.
• Access customer data for reprinting required paperwork.
• Manage each bundle after audit; mark errors as critical or fixable; print error reports.
