Job summary

New Charter is seeking a remote Application Engineer to partner with clients, gather requirements, own NetDocuments build-outs, and execute document migrations and ETL across multiple DMS instances. You will translate business needs into configurations, manage data challenges, and coordinate with project managers to keep implementations on schedule.

You will leverage SQL/Oracle and PowerShell for data transformations, work across OpenText eDOCS, iManage and P&M environments, and communicate

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL or Oracle scripting experience, able to work with complex data sets and migrations.
• Experience with document management systems (DMS) including design, configuration or migration projects.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into application designs and configurations.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting of data, integration, and workflow issues during implementations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with clients, PMs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Migrate documents using ETL processes across DMS platforms to NetDocuments.
• Own creation, configuration, and migration of customer document environments.
• Manipulate data with SQL/Oracle and PowerShell for extractions, conversions and mergers across DMS instances.
• Gather client requirements and translate into system configurations and migration plans.
• Collaborate to define DMS standards, best practices, and troubleshoot issues.
• Support project execution with time and cost estimates and cross-functional coordination.
