Job summary

General Motors is seeking a District Sales Manager for the Cape Girardeau area. This field-based role involves up to 75% travel to Buick and GMC dealerships, partnering with dealers to drive sales, launch new technologies, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across GM brands.

You will coach dealership leadership, analyze performance, forecast inventory, and coordinate GM programs to maximize growth. Relocation within territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with proven revenue growth.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools; data analysis, reporting, and visualization; Google Workspace preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within territory and relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between GM and dealerships to drive performance and GPS customer experiences.
• Provide consultative coaching to dealership leadership to improve sales and align with business goals.
• Analyze dealership performance, market trends, and customer satisfaction to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
• Coordinate launches of new products and programs with dealerships, IAM, and GM stakeholders.
• Manage vehicle and parts inventory forecasting, ordering, and allocation within territory.
• Develop and execute territory business plans to grow GM Buick/GMC sales and services.
• Travel within territory to assess operations and ensure program execution.
