Job summary

Sun Gro Horticulture is seeking a District Sales Manager – Horticulture to plan, organize, and control the complete selling effort within the assigned territory. You will drive area sales and distribution objectives for Sun Gro products, develop plans with distributors and accounts, and manage expenses according to company policies.

The role requires travel, coordination with regional teams, and a focus on market share growth across New England.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture or related field.
• Lawn/garden retail or plant nurseries experience.
• Horticulture/Ag Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales per approved plans and budgets.
• Maintain CRM data and territory profile; monitor competitors and distributors.
• Travel within New England to cover territory and meet sales targets.
