Job summary

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator for a UK based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own the daily dispatch schedule, book carriers, track shipments and resolve delays before the customer notices them.

You will plan and execute daily collections, produce labels and paperwork, monitor shipments, and report on carrier performance. The role requires strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and clear communication under time pressure. UK business hours apply.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating dispatch, courier or delivery operations.
• Familiarity with carrier portals (DPD, DHL, UPS, Royal Mail).
• Ability to handle exceptions and pursue resolutions.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets for scheduling and reporting.
• Experience with international shipping and customs paperwork (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Plan and book daily collections and deliveries with carriers.
• Produce shipping labels, manifests and export paperwork.
• Track shipments in transit and resolve carrier exceptions.
• Keep customers and internal teams updated on status.
• Investigate late, damaged or missing deliveries and log claims.
• Report on carrier performance and dispatch volumes.
