About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. In this fully remote position, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the efficient movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. You will liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers, optimizing routes and resolving logistical challenges. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to a critical function of the Logistics & Warehousing business, supporting operations across various geographical locations and providing vital support to clients and internal teams from George .

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Manage documentation, including shipping orders, bills of lading, and customs forms.
• Utilise logistics software and systems to optimize routes and manage transportation costs.
• Proactively identify and address potential logistical disruptions or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities and generate performance reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, ideally with remote work experience.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
