Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Human Services Social Worker to support assessment and coordination activities in disaster-impacted communities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to document how disasters affect access to human services and how providers adapt to changing conditions.

You will engage in interviews, data collection, and reporting, while ensuring privacy and security. Regular travel and deployment readiness are essential to fulfill mission objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Experience in social work, human services, or disaster response preferred.
• Must complete organization screening, credentialing, cybersecurity/privacy training, Rules of Behavior before deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy with Disaster Human Services Impact Assessment teams and support field assessment activities.
• Assess and document operational impacts that may affect access to human services.
• Explain how disaster conditions affect providers and the populations they serve.
• Identify service-access impacts across child care, senior services, housing, nutrition, and disability supports.
• Conduct interviews with providers, officials, and community partners using approved protocols.
• Document observations and impacts in designated systems and maintain records.
• Coordinate with engineers on facility conditions without making safety determinations.
• Identify gaps and resource needs for affected communities.
• Assist in developing assessment summaries, briefs, and reports.
• Provide social work/crisis-support/referral assistance when within scope.
• Protect PII and comply with privacy and security requirements.
• Use culturally responsive practices for diverse needs.
• Participate in readiness activities and training; maintain deployment readiness.
