Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Human Services Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team delivering field assessments of human service provider facilities, equipment, and operations in disaster-impacted areas. You will document impacts on service delivery and access, coordinate with engineers, and support recovery planning.

The role requires travel nationwide, deployment readiness, and compliance with privacy and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; licensure/certification must be current.
• Experience in social work, human services, disaster-response, or service-system coordination preferred.
• Must complete required screening, credentialing, cybersecurity/privacy training, and other trainings before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy with Disaster Human Services Impact Assessment teams in disaster-impacted jurisdictions.
• Assess and document operational impacts to access to human services.
• Explain observed conditions and their effects on providers and populations served.
• Document service delivery and access impacts in designated systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and technical specialists regarding observed facility conditions.
• Support development of assessment summaries, briefings, and reports for partners.
• Provide social work, crisis-support, resource navigation, or referral assistance when scope allows.
