Job summary

Maximus is hiring Customer Service Representatives to support FEMA disaster assistance programs from a remote home office. You must reside within 75 miles of Waco, TX and be able to pick up equipment at our Waco office.

The role requires working an 8-hour shift, 5 days per week, between 6:30 AM and 2:30 AM EST, and for a temporary period. As a frontline agent, you will collect information, enter data, and respond to inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of customer service/secretarial/telemarketing experience preferred.
• Ability to type at least 20 WPM and read/write English clearly.
• Must pass federal background check and US citizen requirement.
• Experience with call center telephony equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from customers and clients.
• Enter data into the central database.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information about FEMA programs.
• Maintain and update the database and track inquiries.
• Meet QA and performance metrics.
