Job summary

Maximus is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support FEMA. The role is Remote - Work at Home, but candidates must reside within 75 miles of McAllen, TX and can pick up equipment at our office there.

You will handle calls and data entry to assist disaster survivors, working an eight-hour shift, five days a week between 6:30 AM and 2:30 AM EST. This is a temporary position with opportunities for future needs.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service or related experience.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, overtime/holidays as needed.
• US citizenship and residence in Contiguous US.
• Speak/read English clearly and professionally.
• Typing speed of at least 20 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and enter data into the central database.
• Provide information and assist disaster survivors.
• Meet QA metrics and track inquiries.
• Handle confidential information per policy.
• Coordinate with supervisor to resolve complex interactions.
