Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Medical Case Manager to serve as the primary contact for disability benefits and leave processes across the US. You will collaborate with HR, EH&S, and plant leadership to assess needs and create tailored return-to-work plans, coordinating care with medical providers and ensuring adherence to disability policies.

You will support employees on disability leave, communicate progress, and help manage modified duties while staying current with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license or rehab counselor licensure is required.
• 5+ years experience in disability case management or related benefits.
• Ability to travel 10-20% and work across US time zones.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR, EH&S, and plant leadership to support disability leaves.
• Develop individualized return-to-work plans considering medical status and job needs.
• Communicate with employees on disability leave to monitor progress.
• Coordinate with medical providers for treatment and accommodations.
• Manage modified/light duty assignments for disabled employees.
• Ensure compliance with disability policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in case reviews and recommendations on benefits continuation or termination.
• Maintain accurate case notes per record-keeping policies.
• Stay current with disability case management trends and training.
• Coordinate with Corporate Legal on FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and termination issues.
