Owens Corning is seeking a Medical Case Manager to serve as the primary contact for employees and HR navigating disability benefits, LOA, workers' compensation, and related leave processes. The role supports timely, effective case management and return-to-work planning across the US, reporting to the Leave of Absence Lead.

The position is full-time remote/hybrid, requiring collaboration with diverse stakeholders and ongoing professional development in disability management.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a nurse or vocational rehabilitation counselor.
• 5+ years of experience in disability case management, workers' compensation, and/or employee benefits.
• Ability to travel 10-20%.
• Bi-lingual; proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish and English.
• Preferred location Toledo, Ohio or Ohio-based remote/home-office.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with HR, EH&S, and plant leadership to support disability leaves.
• Evaluate disability leave needs and develop return-to-work plans.
• Communicate with employees on disability leave regarding progress and support.
• Work with medical providers to ensure appropriate treatment and accommodations.
• Coordinate modified/light duty assignments when needed.
• Ensure compliance with disability policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in case reviews and make recommendations on benefits.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation.
• Stay current with disability case management trends and training.
• Partner with Corporate Legal on FMLA, ADA, ERISA and termination issues.

Formation

Active nursing license
