Job summary

Geisinger is recruiting a subject matter expert to support the Disability and Accommodation Center of Excellence across the enterprise. The role focuses on driving HR excellence in disability programs and accommodation management for the organization.

The position involves data analysis, policy guidance, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure compliant, effective return-to-work strategies and accommodations in a remote-capable setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and summarize observations on disability and accommodation management.
• Maintain communication with employees with accommodations to support return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate with Workers’ Compensation, Risk Management and other departments.
• Provide guidance on accommodation requests under ADA and interactive process.
• Draft policy revisions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Keep accurate records of leave and accommodations per legal requirements.
• Identify transitional return-to-work programs and temporary modified duties.
• Educate department heads on best practices to improve return-to-work trends.
