Job summary

OCHIN is seeking a Director of Workforce Development to lead workforce programs and grant initiatives across nationwide partners. You will oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of pathways, training, and learner support, ensuring high-quality delivery for FQHCs and safety-net providers.

The role requires extensive leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a track record in scalable program models, with a focus on sustainability and measurable outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Eight+ years of progressive experience in workforce development, education, grant-funded, or service delivery programs.
• Five+ years of management or formal leadership experience within multi-partner environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accountability for workforce development program and grant execution, including deliverables, milestones, budgets, and reporting.
• Establish a coordinated workforce development model with pathways, learning programs, recruitment, and partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across program management, learning, curriculum, grants, data/reporting, and finance teams.
• Serve as the primary internal and external liaison with funders, educational institutions, and partner organizations.
• Oversee performance monitoring, reporting, data analysis, and compliance with funder requirements.
• Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of programs and scalable operating models.
• Support staffing strategies, team development, and capacity to meet demand.
