Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Director of Account Management for a remote role spanning the United States and Canada. You will oversee a team of program managers and drive client retention, service quality, and profitability while maximizing vendor and technology benefits.

You will establish multi-level client relationships, lead strategic business plans, and negotiate contract terms in alignment with policy. The role requires travel, strong communication skills, and a track record in business travel

Qualifications

• Priormanagement work experience in the business travel industry.
• Experience as an account manager in a corporate environment.
• Highly effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Computer literate in business software applications.
• Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis, extensively.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for oversight and direction of the team, including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
• Ensure multi-level, strategic client relationships are being established
• Supportthe development of client and department budget
• Leadthe Account Managementteam to develop strategic client business plans to achieve the client and BCD Travel's objectives
• Exploreopportunities to expand client servicing relationships through (regional or global) expansion
• Negotiateall client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy promptly
