Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director of Specialty Operations to lead and oversee operations for the launch of a new ultra-orphan specialty product.

This remote, full-time role reports to the Executive Director, Channel Strategy and Fulfillment and requires deep experience in specialty model development and cross-functional collaboration across Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, and Regulatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in specialty model development/operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of operational strategies for the launch of a new specialty product.
• Oversee specialty distribution, hub capabilities and pharmacy services.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Data & Analytics, Sales, Medical Affairs and Regulatory to integrate pharmacy operations into the product launch.
• Establish governance and escalation pathways for operations across vendors and stakeholders.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track launch performance and patient outcomes.
