Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is seeking a Director of Specialty Operations to lead the launch of a new ultra-orphan therapy. The role requires coordinating with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, and Regulatory to ensure a seamless integration of pharmacy operations into the product launch and ongoing patient care.

The candidate will oversee the specialty distribution network, establish governance with external vendors, and drive performance through robust KPIs and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required or preferred; MBA or related advanced degree valued.
• Experience in specialty model development/operations and launching products.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of operational strategies for launch of a new specialty product including distribution, hub capabilities, and pharmacy services.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Data & Analytics, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to integrate pharmacy operations with the product launch.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the specialty distribution network ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track launch success, patient outcomes, and service delivery metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on long-term business objectives and continuous improvement.
