Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director of Specialty Operations to lead the launch and ongoing operations of a new ultra-orphan specialty product.

You will drive distribution, HUB services, reimbursement readiness, and cross-functional alignment with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Data & Analytics, and Sales. The role requires 5–7 years in specialty operations, a PharmD or equivalent, and with MBA preferred to support governance, budgeting, and long-term sustainability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in specialty model development/operations; launched a product and managed direct reports.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Brand Marketing, Access Strategy, Sales, Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of operational strategies for a new ultra-orphan specialty product launch.
• Oversee specialty distribution, hub capabilities, pharmacy services, reimbursement, and logistics.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Government Pricing, Finance and Market Access for compliant operations.
• Establish governance structures across specialty pharmacy, distribution, HUB services, and institutional providers.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor patient progression, reimbursement status, and channel performance.
• Manage and develop a team to support launch and long-term objectives.
