Job summary

Point Foundation is seeking a Director, Program Operations to own the requirements, systems, and workflows for scholars through every stage of Point's programs. You will manage the scholarship application portals and scholar CRM, set program requirements, and lead operations for scholar programming with a focus on scalability and fairness.

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, this remote role based in the LA area requires leadership, process design, and data-driven decision making to support

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in scholarship administration, financial aid, student services, or program operations.
• 2+ years in a senior leadership role managing eligibility, compliance, or requirement-review processes at scale.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining a CRM or application management platform, including forms, workflows, automations, permissions, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own Point’s scholarship application portals and scholar CRM; plan and launch CRM strategy.
• Oversee operations across the full scholar lifecycle from application to program completion.
• Design and run multi-touch email and SMS campaigns triggered by requirement status.
• Administer, track, and review scholar requirements for approval and eligibility.
• Own the operational infrastructure for scholar programming, including events like the National Leadership Conference.
• Maintain secure, well-governed program data and produce end-of-term reports.
• Collaborate regularly with other teams to align systems with objectives.
• Lead AI-enabled improvements to reduce manual work and automate tasks.
