Job summary

Point Foundation, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ scholarship organization, seeks a Director of Program Operations to own scholarship portals, the scholar CRM, and the end-to-end lifecycle from application through payment and renewal.

You will lead cross-functional teams, set program requirements, and implement scalable processes that serve thousands of students with secure data handling and compliant workflows. This role emphasizes equity and innovation within a remote, Los Angeles–area framework.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of scholarship administration, financial aid, or program operations.
• 2+ years in a senior leadership role managing eligibility, compliance, or review at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining a CRM or application management platform, including forms, workflows, automations, and reports.
• Experience designing and launching multi-touch campaigns across email and SMS to drive timely completion of requirements.
• Proficiency in cleaning, reconciling, analyzing, and reporting on large program datasets with Excel or Google Sheets and AI tools.
• Discretion and sound judgment handling sensitive scholar information.
• Commitment to advancing equity and inclusion and to Point’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Own systems ownership for Point’s scholarship application portals and scholar CRM, including configuration and ongoing improvement.
• Oversee operations across the full scholar lifecycle from application to payment and program completion.
• Own scholar communications about requirements and deadlines, and run multi-touch campaigns.
• Administer and review eligibility and payment requirements in partnership with leadership.
• Manage operational infrastructure for scholar programming, including the National Leadership Conference.
• Maintain clean, secure program data and produce end-of-term reports.
• Collaborate with cross-team partners to ensure systems meet needs.
• Champion AI adoption to improve efficiency across programs.
