Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Sales Development to guide our growing leadership team and operations. Your teams will identify, engage and qualify prospective customers as we scale inbound demand and prospecting motions.

This remote role is based in the US and reports to Senior Leadership, Sales Development. You will coach, develop incentives, plan programs, and mentor early-career reps while partnering across the organization to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in SAAS sales.
• 5+ years leading front-line sales managers.
• Deep understanding of Sales Development operations, reporting and tech.
• Experience with high-volume MQLs, inbound/outbound activities.

Responsibilities

• Support SDR onboarding, development, and performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration aligned to company goals.
• Lead planning and execution of the SDR department.
• Coach through call reviews and feedback sessions.
• Motivate teams with coaching, incentives, and recognition.
• Develop incentive plans and SPIFFs to drive performance.
