Job summary

Axon 911 is seeking a Director of Public Safety to lead strategy, partnerships, and product alignment for public safety solutions. This fully remote role requires up to 50% travel for on-site client engagements and educational workshops within a specified territory.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, drive KPIs, and shape go-to-market initiatives while advancing AI-enabled safety technology for public safety agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in public safety or PSAP environments
• Experience with PSAP operations, NG911, CAD workflows
• Ability to translate customer feedback into strategy
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement
• Experience with KPIs and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Lead public safety strategy and mentor the team to drive KPIs and growth.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to align solutions.
• Incorporate customer feedback to influence product enhancements and AI initiatives.
• Drive market expansion, deal strategy and industry presence through thought leadership.
• Improve operations and processes to deliver measurable outcomes and cross-functional improvements.
• Engage with PSAP leaders and industry associations to build partnerships.
