Axon 911 is seeking a Director of Public Safety to lead strategic initiatives and partnerships that align Axon 911's solutions with the evolving needs of public safety. This role requires deep domain expertise, strong executive communication, and a track record of driving market impact.

You will work with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure adoption of AI-enabled public safety solutions, while mentoring a high-performing team and advancing industry leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership within public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations.
• Deep expertise across PSAP operations, NG911, CAD, and evolving public safety tech trends.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with PSAP leaders and industry associations.
• Experience translating customer feedback into actionable product and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Axon 911 public safety strategy, strengthen industry partnerships, mentor the Public Safety team, and drive KPIs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align solutions with customer needs.
• Influence product enhancements and coordinate AI initiatives while gathering market feedback.
• Support market expansion through industry expertise, speaking engagements, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Optimize workflows and drive measurable outcomes in customer satisfaction, retention, and adoption.
