Job summary

Axon 911 seeks a Director of Public Safety to lead strategic initiatives aligning Axon 911 solutions with public safety needs. You will engage internal teams and external stakeholders to improve efficiency, market penetration, and thought leadership in a mission-critical space.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate customer feedback into product and go-to-market actions, while driving KPIs, adoption, and strategic partnerships across the public safety community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in public safety or PSAP operations.
• Deep expertise across PSAP operations, NG911, CAD, and evolving public safety technology trends.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with PSAP leaders and industry associations (NENA/APCO).
• Strong track record of defining KPIs and driving cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Axon 911’s public safety strategy and KPIs, mentor the Public Safety team, and drive growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to align solutions with customer needs.
• Gather customer feedback to influence product enhancements, including AI initiatives and early-access programs.
• Support market expansion and deal strategy through industry expertise and thought leadership.
• Optimize workflows and processes to deliver measurable outcomes in satisfaction, retention, and partnerships.
