Ladders is seeking a Director of Software Engineering for Platform & Tool Development. This remote-US role guides the vision and delivery of internal platforms to boost engineering productivity, platform modernization, and reliable software delivery.

You will partner with DevOps to shape cloud-native architecture and improve performance across enterprise apps. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in engineering leadership, and hands-on experience with Java, Spring

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS or software engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering and application development experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience with large-scale teams.
• Proven experience with enterprise apps and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL, React, JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Define and execute the technology vision and delivery roadmap for internal platforms and tools.
• Drive software engineering excellence through best practices and operational discipline.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives using cloud-native architectures and microservices.
