Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to lead remote clinical teams across multi-state markets. You will oversee regional clinical managers and therapists, develop scalable protocols, and improve patient access while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license to practice psychotherapy in PA as an LCSW.
• 5+ years of clinical operations leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience managing managers: leading, coaching, evaluating clinical site managers/supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Support Remote Clinical Teams: manage regional clinical managers and therapists with coaching and supervision.
• Drive Integrated & Outcome-Based Care: establish evidence-based protocols and measure client outcomes.
• Optimize Access & Retention: support recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling to meet caseload goals.
• Maintain Quality & Regulatory Standards: ensure workflows comply with state regulations across markets.
