Job summary

Blackbird Health, a clinician-founded pediatric mental health provider, seeks a Director of Behavioral Health to lead remote clinical teams and align clinical operations with strategic goals across multiple markets. The role requires 5+ years of leadership, pediatric expertise, and active PA LCSW licensure, with strong collaboration across departments.

You will build scalable protocols, optimize caseloads, and foster clinician growth in a growing remote network, reporting to Clinical Leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Active, unrestricted LCSW license to practice in PA.
• 5+ years of clinical operations leadership in behavioral health.
• Experience managing managers (not only frontline clinicians).
• Direct clinical background with pediatric/adolescent mental health focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead remote regional clinical managers and a multi-state team of therapists.
• Develop scalable clinical protocols and ensure regulatory compliance across markets.
• Collaborate with Medical Services and Talent Acquisition to hire, onboard, and retain clinicians.
• Standardize clinical documentation and measure client quality-of-life outcomes.
• Oversee continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with state regulations.
