Athena Executive Search is seeking a Director of Supply Chain for a global chemical manufacturing client in the Cincinnati metro area, with remote work and limited travel. You will lead end-to-end supply chain strategy across multiple sites, guiding planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in supply chain leadership within manufacturing, strong S&OP and ERP experience, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements in

• Minimum 10 years in supply chain management, procurement, planning, logistics, or operations in manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience across multiple sites.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced qualifications and professional certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to implement strategies improving efficiency, service, inventory, and working capital.
• Strong S&OP, demand planning, procurement, and logistics expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with growth and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams across locations.
• Drive S&OP, forecasting, production planning, and resource utilization.
• Develop procurement/Supplier management to improve costs and continuity.
• Optimize inventory, transportation costs, and distribution while maintaining service.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Strengthen processes, systems, and analytics for better decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks; ensure regulatory, quality, and safety compliance.
