Zusammenfassung

Bankrate is seeking a Director of Risk & Controls to stand up its enterprise-grade risk and controls function from scratch. This remote role reports to the COO and will own day-to-day risk mitigation, governance, and documentation.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with Legal, Compliance, and IT Security, leveraging AI to scale the program across Mortgages and other areas, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive risk, compliance, or control management experience.
• Financial services experience is required; mortgage experience preferred.
• Proven ability to project-manage complex initiatives and drive them to completion.
• Proven track record using AI as a productivity tool and building agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with three lines of defense and operating as the first line of defense.

• Stand up Bankrate's enterprise-grade risk and controls function from scratch.
• Own day-to-day execution of risk mitigation, controls, and governance.
• Design and stand up the first-line-of-defense program across Mortgages and beyond.

• Manage third-party due diligence requests and documentation.
