Bankrate is seeking a Director of Risk & Controls to build and lead a first-line risk function in a fully remote role across the United States. You will own risk mitigation, governance, and controls in a fast-growing environment, with access to AI tools and direct visibility to executives.

You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and IT Security to design processes, manage certifications, and drive dozens of workstreams with high energy and clear communications.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive risk, compliance, or control management experience.
• Financial services experience is required; mortgage experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to project-manage cross-functional initiatives and drive them to completion.
• Proven track record using AI as a productivity tool for workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Bankrate’s monthly Risk & Compliance Committee, set agenda, track followups.
• Run bi-weekly Risk & Compliance meeting governance with follow-up tracking.
• Respond to quarterly risk assessments and manage mitigation roadmaps with the business.
• Own governance initiative documentation and historical archive.
• Use AI to design and stand up the first-line-of-defense program.
• Manage third-party due diligence requests and documentation.
• Coordinate with CISO/IT Security and Corporate to refresh internal policies.
• Validate adherence to internal policies and streamline workflows with stakeholders.
• Serve as conduit to Procurement, Security, and Data Privacy processes.
• Manage portfolio of certifications (SOC, EcoVadis, ISO, WCAG).
• Build AI-enabled employee compliance training to scale content.
