Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems (RES) in Houston seeks a Director, Project Controls to oversee the commercial and financial discipline across US EPC, T&D and Canada construction ventures. You will standardize controls methods, turn field activity into reliable forecasts for labor, equipment, materials, subcontract, and other costs, and report with confidence to executive leadership.

You will lead the project controls and accounting teams, partner with procurement, estimating and finance, manage risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years' experience in project controls or financial planning.
• MBA/Engineering/Finance preferred; strong leadership background.
• Experience in EPC or heavy civil construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls team across LEMS O forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Ensure budget compliance and accurate P&L and cash flow reporting.
• Collaborate with commercial, construction, procurement, estimating, and finance.
• Lead contract and change management to protect margins.
• Develop and standardize Business Management System processes.
