Job summary

Givebutter seeks a senior product design leader to scale a growing team across multiple product pods. You will partner with the VP of Design to set direction, remove roadblocks, and raise the quality and velocity of design across the platform.

You’ll mentor designers, shape design culture, and align cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Brand, and leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong portfolio showing leadership across multi-surface product environments.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leadership as a strategic partner.
• Ability to influence roadmap and product direction through design.
• Excellent communication with execs and juniors.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, ambiguous environment.
• Genuine fluency with how AI reshapes design and AI-native product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of product designers across pods, including hiring and growth.
• Partner with the VP of Design on strategy and org design.
• Set craft bar across the platform and maintain long-term quality.
• Define how design operates with AI tools and for AI-driven experiences.
• Influence product strategy and align teams around outcomes.
• Turn user insights into clear direction for the team.
• Evolve design culture with scalable practices and rituals.
