Job summary

Givebutter is seeking a senior product design leader to scale a growing design organization across multiple product pods. You will partner with the VP of Design to shape strategy, hire and mentor designers, and elevate the design craft for AI-driven experiences across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience
• Strong portfolio showing leadership across complex products
• Proven ability to grow designers and build culture
• Deep craft sense across interaction, visual design and systems
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering leaders
• Strong judgment on prioritization and focus
• Excellent communication to execs and junior designers
• Comfort in high-growth, ambiguous environments and AI-driven design

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of product designers across product pods
• Partner with VP of Design on strategy and org design
• Create conditions for designers to do their best work and drive clarity in projects
• Set craft standards across the platform and scale design systems
• Define how design operates with AI tools and AI-driven experiences
• Act as strategic design partner to senior Product and Engineering leaders
• Influence product strategy with deep user insights (fundraisers/donors)
• Make high-stakes design decisions balancing craft and speed
• Evolve Givebutter's design culture with scalable practices and rituals
