Job summary

Acquisition LLC is seeking a Director of Operations to run the business day to day so founders can focus on strategy. You will lead the corporate team and own operating systems behind our studios, including people operations, recruiting, call center, inventory and warehouse operations, payroll, facilities, and vendor coordination.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring decisive action, problem solving, and building scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations across multiple brick-and-mortar locations.
• Direct experience with payroll, recruiting, performance management, facilities, vendor management, inventory, scheduling, or call-center operations.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly while leading a team and staying close to the work.
• Judgment to decide independently or when to involve founders or counsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across studio network and corporate functions.
• Own recruiting, performance management, workforce planning, and people operations.
• Build scorecards and weekly operating cadence for reviews.
• Run payroll and back-office administration accurately and on time.
• Make facilities, vendor, and location-spend decisions within authority limits.
• Coordinate the operational response to labor, compliance, and legal matters with qualified counsel when needed.
• Identify recurring operating problems and install preventive processes with clear ownership.
• Provide founders with clear updates on decisions rather than unresolved problems.
