Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Infrastructure to lead strategy, architecture, and execution of a global infrastructure environment. This remote role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery to modernize systems, improve scalability, and strengthen security.

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure initiatives, optimize operations, and provide a scalable technology backbone for growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud operations, or leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure strategy and large-scale initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, security, and systems architecture.
• Experience managing infrastructure in a growing organization.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure across cloud, networking, and security.
• Own infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.
• Drive modernization including cloud adoption, automation, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Establish infrastructure standards, processes, and best practices.
• Oversee incident management, disaster recovery, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen infrastructure security and compliance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to prioritize initiatives and deliver solutions.
