Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams and drive the next phase of growth for a AI‑driven, cybersecurity and enterprise software platform. You will partner with the VP of Engineering to shape technical direction, balance delivery with reliability, and champion an AI‑native development model across the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering teams and mentor Engineering Managers, Staff/Principal Engineers and senior technologists.
Partner with VP of Engineering on strategy, structure, priorities, and long‑term architecture.
Drive AI‑assisted and agentic software development to accelerate velocity and quality.
Oversee complex, business‑critical initiatives from planning through production.
Set engineering metrics for delivery, reliability, quality, and team performance.
Improve workflows and reduce friction across development and deployment.
Develop engineering leadership and empower senior engineers with ownership.
Identify risks early to avoid customer impact and scale a growing SaaS platform.
