Tide is hiring a Director of Engineering for KYX, leading the engineering org behind KYC and KYB. You will shape strategy across onboarding, continuous KYX, risk scoring and agentic AI, coordinating across multiple markets and teams to drive automated decisioning and compliance excellence.

This role sits at the intersection of regulated risk, member conversion and applied AI, with governance and risk frameworks guiding development and deployment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading engineering in identity, onboarding, fraud or financial crime domains.
• Proven track record turning platform investments into measurable outcomes (conversion, due diligence, unit economics).
• Experience taking ML from development to production at scale and owning model performance.
• Experience operating in a regulated environment with Ops, Policy and second line risk/compliance functions.
• Strong judgement on organization design, delivery, platform strategy, data architecture and technical quality.

Aufgaben

• Own the engineering strategy and organisation for KYX, from onboarding to risk scoring.
• Lead engineering across backend, frontend, data science and ML across multiple distributed sites.
• Own KYX Scoring & ML as a shared capability for onboarding and ongoing decisioning.
• Scale agentic AI in regulated workflows with governance and oversight.
• Collaborate with KYX Ops, KYX Policy, Second Line of Defence, and Product across UK, EU and India.
• Deliver measurable outcomes: higher automated decisioning rates and lower cost per member.
• Build once, deploy globally, with market-specific logic isolated.
