Kyndryl is seeking a Director of AI Security to lead the team securing internal AI platforms, copilots, agents, model deployments, and frontier AI initiatives. You will define strategy, build the team, and ensure security controls across the AI lifecycle.

This role reports to the Security & Resiliency function and partners with Cybersecurity, CIO, AI Platform, and other business units to drive secure AI enablement. Strong leadership and executive communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, product security, application security, cloud security, platform security, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Experience owning an enterprise security capability, technical program, product, or engineering roadmap.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, IAM, secure software development, telemetry, and platform engineering.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Build, lead, coach, and develop the AI Security team with clear roles, priorities, delivery expectations, and career paths.
• Own the team charter, roadmap, intake model, service catalog, operating rhythm, budget priorities, metrics, and executive reporting.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for enterprise AI security.
• Direct reusable controls for AI applications, runtimes, gateways, orchestration services, and model platforms.
• Oversee AI threat modeling, architecture review, adversarial testing, code and agent testing, telemetry, and remediation.
• Drive material AI risks to remediation, approved exception, or explicit risk acceptance.
• Partner across Cybersecurity, CIO, AI Platform, AI Governance, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Legal, Privacy, Procurement, and business teams.
• Brief executives on posture, material risks, investment needs, tradeoffs, and recommended decisions.
